Welcome to Patiently Parenting

I am a Speech and Language Pathologist and mom to two mostly wonderful children (including my autistic/PDA daughter), just trying my best to survive in this crazy and ever-changing world. I am passionate about spreading PDA awareness so we can all patiently support and advocate for those who might learn and live a little differently. In my free time (when it’s not sabotaged by my mostly wonderful children), I enjoy reading, drinking coffee and cocktails, walking with friends, and going on dates with my husband.
